Have you ever thought about how your skin care products are manufactured? Below is a video demonstrating the care that goes into creating each and every product L’BRI PURE n’ NATURAL carries.
Have you read the ingredients in your skin care and cosmetic products lately?
We are slowly becoming aware of the dangers of various ingredients in the foods we are eating. But have we also considered that what we put on our bodies is also affecting our health?
The medical field is now using patch delivery systems for certain types of medication. Then doesn’t it make sense that what we put on our skin by the way of lotion, deoderants, and comestics are also being absorbed into our bodies.
Our skin is like a sponge, absorbing the substances applied to it into our bloodstream. Once in our bloodstream, these substances build up in our liver, kidneys, heart, lungs and tissues.
How long does it take for our bodies to clean theses substances out of our system?
I would like to give the example of my husband’s recent experience.
My husband has been on a preventive medication for gout for about one year. He decided to stop taking it because “things were going good”. After approximately two months of not take the medication he had a gout attack.
Now he did not change anything else – so was this attack possibly caused by the medication finally being cleansed from his system? Could be.
So if we as women have been using dangerous cosmetics for 20, 30, 40 years – how much toxic build up do we have in our system?
Check out L’Bri Pure n’ Natural for skin care alternatives.
Look at the ingredient list of your current skin care products. Is the first ingredient water? Chances are that it is.
90% of all manufacturers use more water than anything else in their skin care product formulas.
Why do they do this?
Water is very inexpensive for the manufacturer. They cut production cost buy using mostly water in their formulations.Water is also everywhere, even if the manufacturer uses distilled water (the purest water), they can get it from anywhere for less than $1.00 per gallon.
Because so many companies use water as the main ingredient in their skin care products, customers don’t realize that there is a more effective product out there.
Water limits the results that your skin care routine will give you.
Your skin is a wonderful protection barrier for your internal organs. It is covered by a thin, waxy coating of oil called sebum. This is normally a very good thing.
But look at what happens when water is applied to your skin. Think of how water and oil react when mixed together.
Any product that contains water is unable to penetrate this protection barrier called the acid mantle.
How do skin care manufacturers try to solve this problem?
They add harsh chemicals to their products to destroy the acid mantle. This damages your skin. Two possibilities then occur, either the aggravation to the oil glands causes them to produce more oil or your skin will dry up completely.
Isn’t is better to invest your hard earned money on products that will actually help your skin instead of wasting it on water laced with chemicals, fragrances and coloring?
Think it is hard to find products that do not contain water?
Or maybe that they would be too expensive?
Fortunately L’Bri Pure n’ Natural products are very concentrated because they do not contain water making them very economical, because you only need a small amount.
Take the L’Bri challenge for yourself, try samples of the products and see the difference for yourself.
This is a story of two prunes that both wanted to look younger like they did in their plum years. (Sound familiar?)
They both went to the store to pick out products promised to remove wrinkles and help them look younger.
The bottom prune has chosen products containing mineral oil. She lovingly applied the product morning and night with no improvement.
Why? Mineral Oil does not penetrate the skin. It coats the skin, blocking the pores and suffocating your skin.
Now, our top prune did a little more research and found products that contained pure Aloe Barbadensis Miller as the main ingredient.
She read that Aloe is able to penetrate through the outer layer of skin to bring moisture into the deeper skin tissue. Aloe is also wonderful at removing the dead cells covering our skin, preventing clogged pores.
Aloe Vera (Barbadensis Miller) has been used for thousands of years to heal burns, bruises, cuts, abrasions, insect bites and other skin issues. It is also reported to be one of Cleopatra’s beauty secrets.
L’Bri Pure n’ Natural has formulated their skin care products with the highest grade of Aloe, harvesting it by hand to only use the pure gel from inside the plants.
That is why Aloe is the first ingredient in all of their skin care products. Heal your skin, don’t just cover it up.
Did you know that new skin cells develop every 28 days when we are young? As we age this process slows down leaving us will a dull, lifeless complexion.
But we can help our skin by using the right products on the skin.
Products that contain helpful botanicals and natural ingredients to heal and feed the skin.
So what are some of these products?
Allantoin – Healing agent originally derived from the root of the comfrey plant. An anti-irritant with healing and soothing properties; stimulates the growth of healthy skin and tissue repair.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) – Natural fruit, sugar cane and milk acids. AHA’s penetrate the skin and increase cell turnover by removing dry, dead cells, thereby revealing younger, fresher looking skin. Also helps smooth the skin, eliminate spots and even out skin color.
Bladderwrack – A sea plant that contains many minerals such as potassium and beta-carotene, which work to sooth and nurture the skin.
Butcher’s Broom – Known to improve circulation, protect capillaries, decrease redness and sensitivity, and tighten and tone the skin.
Chamomile – Is soothing, calming and an anti-inflammatory. It is a disinfectant with a gentle nature. It is very good for dry, sensitive skin and has the ability to shrink small blood vessels which can help reduce redness.
Comfrey – An herb which helps stimulate the growth of new cells and help heal and soothe the skin. Very soothing to tender, inflamed skin.
Coneflower – Also known as Echinacea. Excellent for the treatment of wrinkles. Restores inflamed connective tissue and increases the levels of Hyaluronic Acid in the skin. This contributes to the skins moisture and firmness by increasing the viscosity of the ground substance between the cells. Used in L’Bri skin care products in combination with Aloe in cell therapy and to heal oily and blemished skin.
Elderflower – Cleanses, reduces inflammation and acts as a mild astringent. Helps keep skin soft and supple.
Honey – Honey has a stimulating and toning effect on the skin and is a mild antiseptic. Honey contains enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
Hypericum – Steps up circulation as it heals and calms the skin. Pine Bark – A wonderful, powerful anti-oxidant which has been shown to help retard aging by protecting skin down to its structural level.
These are just a few of the wonderful ingredients used in the products from L’Bri Pure n’ Natural. Take the 30 day challenge to see how wonderful your skin can look.
Using these products twice a day keeps the wrinkles away.Click here for more information.

L’Bri was started in 1998 by the husband and wife team of Brian and Linda Kaminski, using a combination of their names L for Linda and Bri for Brian, who had been very successful with other direct sales skin care companies.
After experiencing some challenges with the management of the companies that they had been working with, Linda and Brian decided to formulate their own skin care products based on the wonderful benefits of Aloe Barbadensis Miller.
The Kaminski’s learned of the healing power of Aloe when Brian was burned severely in an accident at work. After seeing the amazing recovery he had with no scarring. They believed that aloe would be the perfect base for a skin care line of products.
So with that in mind they met with many chemists to create a formulation for their products before finding one that would formulate the products with the high quality of ingredients that Linda and Brian were requesting.
Linda and Brian knew that their products would only be as good as the ingredients used to make them, therefore only the best would do for them.
The mission of L’Bri is to offer both customers and consultants a lifetime of self-confidence through products and services designed to enhance their personal appearance, while building self-esteem within a supportive and nurturing environment.
To provide individuals a rewarding full-time or part-time opportunity which will enable them to achieve whatever they desire, limited only by their own initiative.
To achieve these goals in a manner that is respectful of each individual involved at every level within our organization.
To enhance the lives of each person involved with L’Bri

In addition to the animal bi-products mentioned in the last post, there are many other ingredients to avoid in skin care products.
Here are more ingredients to beware of if your skin care products contain them.
Mineral Oil: An oil product derived from petroleum (crude oil), a stabilizing ingredient used in many skin care formulas. Mineral oil forms a film on the skin like plastic wrap, blocking the pores and interfering with the normal skin functions of letting in nutrients and expelling toxins.
Petroleum (Petrolatum): An oil product that does not penetrate the skin, but it sits on the surface, again interfering with the normal functions of the skin.
Solvent Alcohol: A colorless, volatile liquid in the form of propyl, isopropyl (petroleum derivatives) or SD 40 alcohol (specially denatured ethyl alcohol). These strip the skin of its protective acid mantle, drying the skin and leaving it unprotected from bacteria.
Soap: This strips the skin’s protective acid mantle. It can take the skin over 24 hours to rejuvenate itself after using soap or solvent alcohol. Soap is also very drying to the skin.
Lanolin: An oily excretion of sheep, a common lubricating ingredient in skin care formulas. Extracted from wool, it can be a cause of allergic reactions in sensitive people.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate: Used in products to create lather. This is a degreasing agent that strips the protective layer from skin and hair.
The cosmetic companies are unconcerned about our health. They know most people will try anything to look younger and prettier without actually learning about the ingredients in these products.
I think it is time that we stand up and learn about what we are putting on our bodies and how it affects our health.
That is why companies like L’Bri Pure n’ Natural are wonderful to find. They care about the ingredients that they use in producing quality products.
Try the samples for yourself here.
Have you ever attempted to read the list of ingredients that are in your skin care products?
Would you like to know what these ingredients are doing to your skin and where they come from?
Are you familiar with rendering plants?
Rendering plants are where bad meat from grocery stores, unusable body parts from animals and used grease from restaurants are sent. It is also where dead animals are sent to; most of these animals have died from disease.
These plants throw all of the above items into large vats to boil, producing a yellow grease like substance.
The cosmetic manufacturers are the largest consumers of the bi-products from these rendering plants.
So what are the cosmetic manufacturers doing with these animal bi-products?
They are making ingredients for their skin care products. Here are some of the ingredients produced and their uses.
Oleic acid: Used in soaps, permanent wave solutions, shampoos, hair dyes, lipsticks, liquid make-ups, nasal sprays
Glycerine: Used in cosmetics, mouthwashes, toothpastes, soaps, ointments
Stearic acid: Used in cosmetics, lubricants, hair spray, conditioners, deodorants
Non-edible tallow: Used in soap
Try skin care products without these dangerous ingredients at L’Bri Pure n’ Natural.
Always add a little water over your face after applying L’Bri moisturizers
Why?
Water is what keeps your skin hydrated! Dehydration is the main cause of wrinkles in the skin.
L’Bri refuses to add water to dilute our products. This results in products that are very concentrated making them more effective. Most of our products will last you for months, because a small amount goes a long way!
L’Bri’s Aloe Jelly, Oil Free, and Gentle Moisturizers can all bring 5 times their weight in water into the skin, because our moisturizers are so concentrated. The Intensive Moisturizer can hold an amazing 10 times its weight in water!
After applying your L’Bri moisturizer just get your fingers wet with tap water and massage that water gently over your face. The moisturizer will soak up that water, pulling it deep into the skin where it can do the greatest benefit.
This process will actually provide moisture for the skin, not lubrication from mineral oil.
Order your moisturizer at here.
